Has anyone had a breast implant? What does it do to nipple sensitivity?

breast implant
alarafan asked:

I am considering implants due to droopy post baby boobs. One thing I am concerned about is the fact that I have been told that sometimes you completely loose nipple sensitivity. For me breast and nipple sensations are an integral part of lovemaking and I do not want to lose that. What has your experience been?

In most cases sensitivity is lost. If that is a major play in your lovemaking, I would advise against it.

i havent tried it but imagine this .. they are going to make a cut underneath ur both breasts and then more cutting inside to form the “pockets” where they are going to insert the implants .. cutting all ur nurve tissues and seperating ur breast from ur body will sure num ur nipples and u wont feel anything anymore .. maybe 20% of ur sensitivity will come back but hell i’d rather live with my not-so-perfect breasts and able to keep my sensevtive nipples instead of pamela anderson’s breasts with no feeling at all !

and no matter how ur breasts look .. bras make wonders !

Hi! i haven’t had implants or anything because i’m only sixteen, but my mom had them after my brother and i were born.

i asked her about it once and she says you completely lose sensitivity there. she says it kind of feels like a callus. not rough like a callus, but you know, dull. she regrets having ever had the implants

try an underwire bra or something - can work wonders!

I had breast augmentation under the muscle and actually had increased sensitivity. It varies from person to person. Make sure you pick a well-qualified experienced surgeon. Statistically, 25-30% of women lose sensitivity after breast augmentation.
